This Bosch battery is designed to fit behind the rider as part of the rack and the 400wh version was popular with early e bike models pre 2020. 400 watt hours is the smallest and cheapest option available as a replacement or spare battery pack. The physical size is the same as the newer more popular 500 wh version which offers 25% more battery size and hence potential range.
